Homemade Jello (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 6 cups (1.4 L) fruit juice (48 ounces)
02 - 3 tablespoons gelatin (plus 2 teaspoons for firmer texture)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat 1/2 cup of the juice in a small saucepan until hot but not boiling.
02 - Add the gelatin to a small bowl and pour the heated juice over the top. Whisk to combine, then let the mixture sit. Continue to stir occasionally until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
03 - Add the remaining juice and whisk to completely combine. Pour the mixture into a jello mold, cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight until completely firm.
04 - Slice and serve. Optionally top with fresh fruit to complement your chosen juice flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Different juice flavors will produce different colored and flavored jellies.
02 - For a firmer texture, use the additional 2 teaspoons of gelatin as indicated.
