# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 1 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Orange Frosting

08 - 2 cups powdered sugar
09 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
11 - Orange food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
04 - Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
05 - Divide the dough in half, shape into disks, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
06 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). On a floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
07 - Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let them cool on a wire rack.
08 - In a mixing bowl, beat together the powdered sugar, softened butter, orange juice, and a few drops of orange food coloring until smooth and creamy.
09 - Once the cookies are completely cool, spread or pipe the orange frosting onto each cookie.
10 - Sprinkle Halloween-themed sprinkles over the frosted cookies for a festive touch.

# Notes:

01 - These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
02 - For best results, ensure cookies are completely cooled before frosting.
