Fruity Pebble Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cereal Base

01 - 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
02 - 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal

→ Binding Agents

03 - 570g mini marshmallows (two 10oz bags)
04 - 230g unsalted butter (1 cup)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter completely. Allow it to bubble and foam. Watch carefully as it will quickly turn golden brown. Once it reaches a nutty brown color, immediately remove from heat.
02 - Immediately add the mini marshmallows to the hot browned butter. Toss for about 30 seconds until they begin to melt.
03 - Add both the Rice Krispies and Fruity Pebbles to the melted marshmallow mixture. Stir quickly until all cereal is evenly coated.
04 - Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking pan. Press down evenly with a greased spatula. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

# Notes:

01 - Using browned butter instead of regular melted butter adds a delicious nutty flavor that complements the sweetness of the cereals.
02 - For cleaner cutting, lightly grease your knife between slices.
