Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tsp matcha powder
02 - 1/4 cup hot water (about 175°F/80°C, not boiling)
03 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (or frozen, thawed)
04 - 1-2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
05 - 1/2 cup whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
06 - 1/2 cup ice cubes

# Instructions:

01 - Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove lumps. Add the hot water and whisk in a zigzag motion until smooth and frothy. Set aside to cool.
02 - Blend the strawberries with honey or sugar (if using) until smooth. For a seed-free layer, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve. Set aside.
03 - Froth the chilled milk using a handheld frother or whisk for a creamy texture.
04 - In a tall glass, add the ice cubes. Pour the strawberry puree over the ice as the bottom layer. Next, gently pour the cooled matcha over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layer. Finish with the frothed milk on top.
05 - Garnish with a fresh strawberry or a sprinkle of matcha powder for an elegant touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
