Philly Cheesesteak Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese Sauce

01 - 2 tbsp butter
02 - 2 tbsp flour
03 - 2 cups milk
04 - 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Main Components

05 - 2 lbs fries
06 - 1 lb shaved steak
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder
08 - 1/2 tsp salt
09 - 2 tbsp oil, for cooking steak

→ Garnish

10 - Green onions, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add in the flour and stir until combined, cooking for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
02 - Slowly whisk in the milk, continuing to stir for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
03 - Lower the heat and stir in the mozzarella cheese until fully melted, then set aside and keep warm.
04 - In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the shaved steak and season with garlic powder and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through.
05 - Cook the fries according to package instructions or fry them in oil until golden and crispy.
06 - To assemble, spread the fries on a serving dish, top with some of the steak and drizzle the cheese sauce over. Repeat layers as desired, and garnish with chopped green onions.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, you can add sautéed onions and bell peppers to the steak while cooking.
02 - Ensure cheese sauce remains warm until serving to maintain proper consistency.
