Oven-Roasted Plums (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fruits

01 - 680g prune plums (quetsches), halved and pitted

→ Flavorings

02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or powder (or 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 1 cinnamon stick)
04 - 2 thin slices lemon or orange
05 - 60ml white wine

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
02 - Place the halved plums in a baking dish, arranging them in a single even layer.
03 - Drizzle honey over the plums, then add the vanilla (or cinnamon stick), citrus slices, and white wine. Gently toss to combine, then spread the plums back into an even layer.
04 - Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 30-45 minutes. Remove from oven halfway through to gently stir. Check periodically to ensure plums become tender but not mushy.

01 - The cooking time may vary depending on plum ripeness. Perfectly roasted plums should be soft and cooked through while still maintaining their shape.
