Macaroni Cheese Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 lb. pizza dough
02 - 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Toppings

05 - 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese
06 - 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
07 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
09 - 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
10 - Kosher salt, to taste
11 - Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

12 - Grated Parmesan cheese
13 - Fresh chopped parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 450°F (230°C).
02 - Roll dough out and place on a pizza pan dusted with cornmeal.
03 - Combine olive oil, oregano, and garlic powder. Spread in an even layer across the crust. Bake crust for 5-8 minutes or until it just starts to develop spots of golden brown and the olive oil is mostly absorbed.
04 - Combine cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses together. Mix about half the shredded cheese mixture into the macaroni and cheese. Spread this mixture in an even layer across the par-baked pizza crust.
05 - Top with remaining cheese mixture and a pinch or two of salt and pepper.
06 - Bake for about 5 minutes.
07 - Sprinkle crumbled bacon evenly over the pizza.
08 - Return to oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the edges of the crust turn dark golden brown and mac and cheese is thoroughly heated.
09 - Garnish with fresh parsley, slice and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, allow mac and cheese to cool slightly before spreading on pizza to prevent a runny consistency.
