Layered Taco Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Layer

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning
03 - ½ cup water

→ Filling Layers

04 - 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
05 - 1 cup salsa
06 - 1 cup sour cream
07 - 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
08 - 6-8 flour tortillas (8-inch size)

→ Garnish

09 - ¼ cup sliced black olives
10 - ¼ cup chopped green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
02 - Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
03 - Spread refried beans evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add a layer of tortillas, trimming as needed to fit the dish.
04 - Distribute half of the beef mixture over the tortillas, followed by layers of salsa, sour cream, and half of the cheese.
05 - Add another layer of tortillas, then top with remaining beef mixture, salsa, and cheese.
06 - Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 5 more minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
07 - Remove from oven and garnish with black olives and green onions before serving.
