Honey Garlic Salmon Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon

01 - 1 pound salmon (about 3 fillets), skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - ½ teaspoon paprika
04 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
05 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
06 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
07 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ Sauce

08 - 57g unsalted butter (¼ cup / ½ stick)
09 - 170g honey (½ cup)
10 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - 3 tablespoons minced garlic
12 - 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
13 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
14 - Green onions, for garnish
15 - Sesame seeds, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
02 - In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon cubes and gently toss until evenly coated.
03 - Arrange the salmon pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 60-63°C (140-145°F). Work in batches if necessary.
04 - Transfer the cooked salmon to a plate and loosely cover with aluminum foil to keep warm while preparing the sauce.
05 - In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, combine butter, honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir to incorporate all ingredients.
06 - Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 12-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened to a glossy consistency.
07 - Add the cooked salmon bites to the skillet and gently toss to coat thoroughly in the honey garlic sauce.
08 - Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - For maximum flavor, allow the salmon to marinate in the spice mixture for 15-20 minutes before cooking if time permits.
02 - The sauce can be made ahead and reheated when needed.
