Green Spinach Almond Smoothie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Smoothie Base

01 - 1 banana, sliced and frozen (unfrozen works too)
02 - Handful of ice cubes
03 - 1 tablespoon almond butter or other nut butter
04 - Pinch of sea salt
05 - 1 Medjool date, pitted and torn into pieces
06 - 60-120g fresh spinach (120g recommended)
07 - 240ml unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice, plus extra as needed

→ Optional Boosters

08 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
09 - 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If blender gets stuck, stop it, jostle the ingredients with a knife, and purée again.
02 - If smoothie is too thick, add water or more almond milk until reaching desired consistency.

# Notes:

01 - For a sweeter smoothie, add an extra date or use a riper banana.
02 - Frozen banana creates a creamier texture, but room temperature works well too.
