In an 8×8 baking dish, combine the rice, French onion soup and beef broth.

Arrange the sliced butter on top of the rice mixture.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 425°F (220°C) oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes, until the rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed.
