Flourless Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup nut butter (almond, cashew, or peanut)
02 - 1/2 cup maple syrup
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 tbsp avocado oil
05 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
06 - 1/4 tsp sea salt
07 - 6 tbsp cocoa powder
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Garnish

09 - Flaked sea salt for topping (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
02 - Either lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line with parchment paper strips placed crosswise for easy removal of brownies.
03 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine nut butter, maple syrup, egg, avocado oil, baking soda, sea salt, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until a smooth, uniform batter forms.
04 - Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly puffed in the center and just set but still fudgy in texture.
05 - Allow brownies to cool completely on a wire rack before carefully lifting out of the pan (if using parchment). Slice into squares and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Any type of nut butter works well in this recipe - almond, cashew, or peanut butter are excellent choices.
02 - For best texture, avoid overbaking. The brownies should still be slightly fudgy in the center when done.
