Chocolate Protein Energy Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips
02 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
03 - 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
04 - 1/4 cup honey
05 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
06 - 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (or vanilla)
07 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the melted chocolate chips, cocoa powder, peanut butter, salt, honey, rolled oats, and protein powder. Stir until well combined.
03 - Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
04 - Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to portion out the mixture and roll into balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
05 - Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
