01 - 680 grams beef flank steak, thinly sliced
02 - 4 cups broccoli florets
03 - 120 milliliters soy sauce
04 - 55 grams brown sugar
05 - 60 milliliters beef broth
06 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
08 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

09 - Cooked rice
10 - Sesame seeds, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In the slow cooker, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, garlic, and ginger.
02 - Stir to coat the beef evenly with the sauce.
03 - Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the beef is tender.
04 - In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the slow cooker. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the sauce to thicken.
05 - Serve hot over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
